My wife and I have always kept and bred various reptiles ever since we met working at the same pet shop in the 90’s.  In the early 2000’s I was an avid keeper of tree pythons and boas and was actually very successful at breeding the Green Tree Python for several years.  These snakes were my passion, but they weren’t easy and required very specific accommodations to be successful.  Around 2008, I began keeping other reptiles, including a few random Bearded Dragons.  My wife liked the Bearded Dragons and wasn’t a fan of the snakes, so we slowly downsized the snake collection and began keeping more dragons.  This grew into what is now Mike’s Beardeds!  We are a very small time operation, but we strive to do things correctly and our goal is to make sure every customer is treated like family and has a very positive experience.  When you buy a dragon from us, you don’t only get a dragon, you get the confidence of knowing someone is there for you.  If there are any questions, concerns or problems our customer service is second to none!

All our dragons are started on fresh greens before even being offered bugs.  This is how we start our dragons for success.  All dragons are kept under Arcadia brand T5 high output 12-14% UVB bulbs that are replaced yearly, so that you get a dragon that has been started correctly in the most important part of it's life, the growing stage.  With our dragons you don't have to worry about any health concerns popping up from improper care before they come to you!  Please see our shipping section here for more info about how we get you your dragon safely!
